Life is grand

[Update]Well that did not last long. My site started coming up blank with this plugin enabled. So I have disabled it. Am trying out Askimet now.[/Update]

You may notice a new field in the comment form asking you a simple bit of maths. This is to prevent a recurrence of the 300 comments I got over the past weekend of which 1 was not spam. It is a WordPress plugin called Did You Pass Math? and is dead easy to install (you don’t have to edit your templates.)

I thought of using a CAPTCHA but I generally dislike them. This seems a simple and effective solution. That is, until the spam bots learn to count.
