Life is grand

A baby Lexus in the BMW 1 Series range? I’d buy that. I haven’t even seen it yet but I’d buy it. The interior quality of a Lexus with Toyota reliability in a small, economical package. Easy to park, good around town, not bad on longer cruises and can carry my better half and maybe a scrub or two. I’d buy that.

I owned a Toyota for many years and as much as do like my current Ford Fiesta I’d go back to Toyota on my next car purchase. I could do it now, buy a Toyota Corolla hatchback and be relatively happy. But lately I have been spoilt by a friends Alfa Romeo 159. Man, that thing is nice to sit in. I go back to my Fiesta and pick at the plastic dash, twiddle the fake-chrome gear lever. Sitting inside a Toyota Corolla is a lot better than the Fiesta but… I have been spoilt, I want more. Lexus though, they do good interiors, quality materials. And Toyota reliability. The Alfa Romeo is still an Alfa Romeo, the heart says yes, the brain says “peace of mind!”

Lexus, please make it.
