Star Wars, The Order
Not a new Start Wars movie but rather a question; What order should the Star Wars movies be watched in?
The traditionalists say the release date is the right order. The original three; IV, V, VI and then the recent three; I, II, III.
I am yet to be convinced the “I am your father” “twist” is a strong enough argument from the tradionalists. Given the choice I’d watch them in episode order; I, II, III, IV, V, VI.
How about you?

If i wanted someone to enjoy them, i'd recommend IV, V. If they hate those two, at least they haven't wasted their time on Jar Jar...

A friend here in Ireland had never seen Star Wars before last year. She then went and watched them all and loved the whole series. Though she said the original three were a bit old and corny :)
And anyway. I rather liked the three new movies. They aren't great but they fit into the story well and are entertaining. Jar Jar is annoying though.

how good actors like Ewan McGregor and Liam Neeson were so wooden in I is beyond me.

I think that if i were to show the movies to a new fan, i would show them Phantom Menace, A new Hope, Attack of The Clones, Empire Strikes Back, Revenge of the Sith, Return of the Jedi.
