I liked TechCrunch when you got an unbiased yet still opinionated view of new start-ups on the web. Back when it was just fiery Arrington and a passion for new, interesting ideas. Sadly it has become a victim of its own success with increasing irrelevance, bias and low quality, even by blog standards, writing. This latest post on Why Digg Is Still The Best pushed TechCrunch out of my Purgatory category and into the dead pool.
