Life is grand

While reading this article on Mozilla as “the web’s platform”* the mobile section put a question in my head; If Firefox made a mobile version that ran on the iPhone, would Apple allow it on the App Store? It would compete with Mobile Safari and would, possibly, break a few iPhone dev rules such as “no code evaluation.”

It certainly seems possible to code but would Apple allow it?

(* The web is a platform already. The web is its own platform. Firefox sits on top of the web platform.)
