Comment with Evoca

Monday, October 23rd, 2006

You may notice just above the comments section below is a new feature; the Evoca Browser Mic. It is yet another good idea from Evoca. It lets anyone leave a voice comment on my blog. It uses Flash to record and send the recording to my Evoca account. Give it a bash.

Microformatique, less

Tuesday, September 5th, 2006

Microformatique is an interesting new blog on the topic of microformats. After installing the new version of Tails (which fixes that tabbing issue thankfully) I noticed though that Microformatique does not seem to use any microformats itself. No hCard for contact details and none for links. I assume this is because Microformatique is new but even so microformats are dead easy to implement.

I should note that so far Microformatique is worth subscribing to.

UPDATE: Just added hAtom support to this blog. Pretty easy to do.

WordPress Feedburner plugin

Friday, August 4th, 2006

I have been interested in Feedburner since it launched but that you have to give up control of your feed’s URL has always kept me from using it. Sure, you could put PHP scripts on your hosting that did some redirecting but it was all a bit of a hassle.

Much to my delight though there is a WordPress plugin that makes all of this painless. Thanks to Argolon for commenting about it in the previous post.

So now my journal’s feed retains its address but has all the FeedBurner features I’ve been wanting.
