Unusual video
Tuesday, August 8th, 2006YouTube, Blip.TV and PhotoBucket all auto-rotate my video. I realise shooting video in portrait mode is not that common but it was a fireworks show which is all vertical, not horizontal. These services could do well to allow me to rotate the video back. Very annoying.
Spraoi
Tuesday, August 8th, 2006Waterford’s Spraoi festival ended with a bang on Sunday night. A brilliant parade of macabre monsters and a pretty decent set of fireworks. I got a video of the fireworks (I would put it on YouTube but the “clever” system doesn’t like the portrait format of my video and auto-rotates it to landscape format. Which is daft.)
We then headed for the pubs and drank into the early hours.
Croke Park
Monday, July 24th, 2006Spent a fantastic Sunday with Fi at the infamous Croke Park in Dublin. We watched Waterford take on and beat Tipperary in the Hurling Championship quarter-final.
