Vote

Monday, November 3rd, 2008

Please vote tomorrow. Vote Obama. Vote McCain. The important thing is to vote. You cannot rely on your neighbour to vote. If you can’t vote, tell someone who can vote to vote. If you are voting, take someone else with you to vote. Get them to take someone else with them.

Vote.

Obama mix

Wednesday, October 8th, 2008

Obama Whatever your politics it is strange and wondrous to find DJs and graphic-designers independent of a politician’s campaign putting mixes and posters together. DJ Z-Trip’s Obama Mix is pretty good and Shepard Fairey makes Obamatastic posters.

How to start each day

Friday, October 3rd, 2008

1. Open a new file in your computer.
2. Name it “Robert Mugabe”.
3. Send it to the Recycle Bin.
4. Empty the Recycle Bin.
5. Your PC will ask you. “Do you really want to get rid of “Robert Mugabe ?”
6. Firmly Click “Yes.”
7. Feel better?

Tomorrow we’ll do George Bush.

(Not for us Mac heads but it made me laugh, in a sad way. Bugger, so negative. George and Mad Bob just need hugs I reckon. Maybe a pint down at the local and a good talking to by their moms. But definitely loads of hugs. And counseling.)

Cheers Mbeki, hello Kgalema

Thursday, September 25th, 2008

Woke up this morning to find South Africa, my home country, has “elected” a new president; Kgalema Motlanthe. Never heard of him to be honest. Apparently he was the deputy president of the ANC.

He is temporary however, a pollyfiller president until proper elections next year when, with much trepidation, Jacob Zuma becomes the new president as the ANC wins another election (this is no Obama vs. McCain race. SA elections are a one horse town with the rest of the field sporting one-legged asses.)

Obama on The West Wing

Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008

Obama talks to President Bartlet of The West Wing. Thanks Aaron Sorkin. Hard to believe McCain and Obama are in a dead heat in the polls.
